Ahead of the Opening Night Gala Premiere of the 55th BFI London Films Festival 2011 we hear in depth from the cast and crew of new romantic drama 360.
360 is the new film from director Fernando Meirelles (City Of God, Blindness, The Constant Gardner) selected for the prestigious Opening Night of this year’s festival. The film boasts a stellar cast that includes Sir Anthony Hopkins, Jude Law and Rachel Weisz. The film also features European stars like Vladimir Vdocichenkov and Moritz Bleibtreu.
360 is based on the classic play Reigen (La Ronde) by Arthur Schnitzler, with a screenplay written by Peter Morgan (The Queen, Frost/Nixon). It is a truly international story about the consequences of people’s actions and decisions in relationships. It also explores the notion of how interconnected our lives have become on a global scale.
