Game Of Thrones newest star Rose Leslie talks to us in her first exclusive interview about joining the cast of the hit HBO sword and adventure drama. Downton Abbey star rose tells us all about casting, training and why she thinks fans love this show so much. HBO has announced that the second season will premiere in April 2012.
Rose is slated to play the role of Ygritte, a wilding woman and spearwife who meets Jon Snow (played by Kit Harington) when he ventures outside the Wall and becomes his love interest.
Leslie has also appeared in the BBC1 series “Case Histories” and received a Scottish BAFTA award for best acting by a new talent for her work in the television film “New Town” in 2009.
