We talk to Bill Nighy, Ashley Jensen, director Sarah Smith and animation legend Nick Park (creator of Wallace and Gromit) on the red carpet at the World Premiere of Aardman Animation’s new festive feature film Arthur Christmas. The film stars James McAvoy as Arthur.

The cast and crew discuss everything from past roles to what they want for Christmas. Bill Nighy talks a bit about the Starlight Foundation, an organization that grants wishes for terminally ill children, which the film is supporting. Sarah Smith discusses her international career and her inspiration for her ‘elf voice,’ while Sarah Smith shares her thoughts on being surrounded by elf-faces. Nick Park goes into the different look he created for Arthur Christmas as well as the little mementos of past films he may or may not have hidden in the animation. All in all it’s clear that the movie will be entertaining for the whole family and chock-full of British humor.

Plot: The Santa Family has upgraded to an extremely high-tech operation to efficiently complete the monumental task of delivering gifts to every child in the world on a single night.
