Fans braved the rain and freezing weather tonight for a Red Carpet European Premiere of Fred Claus at the Empire, Leicester Square. It was no-expense spared for the event too – with even a snow machine to add to that wintry feel. The rain and soap-sud-snow was like Kyrptonite to the autograph-hounds though. An unhappy combination that disolved pictures and made ink run and blur. Vince Vaughn and Paul Giamatti spent lots of time with the frozen-ones signing, posing and chatting, as did producers Joel and Jessie. Director David Dobkin visited the entire length of the barricade.
