Plot: Based on a true story, Chariots of Fire is about two young British athletes who competed in the 1924 Summer Olympics. The two runners – Harold Abrahams, a Jewish Cambridge student facing anti-semitism, and Eric Liddel, a devout Christian educated by missionaries in China, compete for completely different reasons. But both men have the same goal in mind: Olympic gold.
